That said, it’s all about what you know; which comes down to doing some research beforehand, so you’re armed with the info you need before you drive into town. And, should you be visiting the UK capital on business and looking to stay in the City of London area (perhaps booking a room at the Montcalm London City hotel), the transport for getting you to and from the city might well be a car. NCP Car Park London Finsbury Square

Comprising a total 258 spaces, this ample car park is ideal should you be staying in the heart of the City at one of the premier business hotels in London. It’s open 24 hours a day, seven days a week too, while prices range from £16 for two hours up to £55 for between six and 24 hours,
NCP Car Park London Aldersgate
(158-170 Aldersgate Street EC1A 4HY; 0.4 miles from The Montcalm Brewery hotel: head west along the B100, across the A1 into Long Lane and then turn left into Cloth Street)
This site offers 670 spaces. Again, you can roll up and park any time 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Prices vary from £5 for two hours up to £38 for between six and 24 hours.
Broadgate Car Park
(Primrose Street EC2A 2EW; 0.7 miles from The Montcalm Brewery hotel: head east along the B100, turn right into Finsbury Street, left into Ropemaker Street/ South Place, left into Wilson Street, right into Sun Street/ Appold Street and then right into Primrose Street)
This car park boasts 85 spaces and is a bit pricier than the previous two for short-term stay (£20 for up to two hours); it does however offer a 24/7 service and is manned every hour of the day and night. Moreover, if you want to leave your car here for between 12 and 24 hours, it’s fairly economical, as it’ll set you back £45.
NCP London Great Eastern Street

Featuring 125 spaces, this one’s open several hours a day (6am-8pm weekdays; 7am-7pm Saturdays and Sundays) and is competitive in terms of prices (ranging from £16 for up to two hours to £38 for between four and 24 hours). It’s also manned and offers electric-car changing points.
NCP Car Park London Saffron Hill

Yet another NCP offering, this one is ample (a total 353 spaces) at very affordable prices – from £9 for an hour right through to £22.50 for between four and 24 hours. It’s also open 24/7 and offers electric car charging points.
NCP London Vintry Thames Exchange

Full to the brim with parking spaces (up to 466), this is a well-sized option that’s open 24/7 and offers decent prices (£10 for up to one hour to £44 for between three and 24 hours). It also boasts a 24-hour contact centre.
Grey Eagle Street Car Park
(Grey Eagle Street E1 6; 1.2 miles from The Montcalm Brewery hotel: take Chiswell Street towards Worship Street, from here take Curtain Road to Shoreditch High Street, turn into Commercial Street towards Jerome Street and then take Corbet Place to Grey Eagle Street)
Perhaps a slightly less secure-looking parking option (it’s not manned), this one at least is excellent for local amenities like the Brick Lane Markets and is relatively cheap (spaces start from £10). It’s open from 7am-12noon seven days a week.
Truman Brewery Parking Ely’s Yard

Open seven days a week, but only from 5am-11.30pm; you can however leave your car overnight (prices: £15 for 5am-7pm and £8 for 7pm-5am). Note: this car park is only open on weekdays.
