There’s nothing quite like finding that perfect conference room. The kind of space that is open and lets you breathe, the kind of space that invites innovation and connection, rather than droll clock watching. We’ve all been in those stuffy, overheated conference rooms in uncharacteristic office buildings, and it can feel difficult to keep motivated. We all dread long meetings, but with the right environment, they can be engaging, informative and constructive.
Luckily, the Montcalm at the Brewery London holds the answer to your conference and event woes. Based in the thriving business hub of tech city in Shoreditch, these Barbican based meeting rooms are located on the grounds of the luxurious and popular Montcalm Hotel and offer up a diverse range of meeting rooms for you to choose from.

Named after Samuel Whitbread, the famous brewer whose beer is served in the Montcalm Brewery, this conference room is one of the most popular in our repertoire. The Samuel Room is well known for being one of the Brewery’s ground floor spaces and for its large, bright windows adorning one side of the room. These floor to ceiling windows bring in a lot of light and make for an even more spacious conference room as it looks out into the Brewery Courtyard. Guests have the option for break outs and dining in the courtyard. With space for 55 seated and 100 standing, this is great for wedding parties and large conferences.
This high-ceilinged conference room has large sash windows and a chandelier, making for a truly classy conference room. With elegant design and seating space for 36, this space overlooks the Chiswell Street Dining Rooms and offers up a stately space for business meetings and intimate parties. The Melville Room was named after one of the first investors in the Whitbread Brewery, started by Samuel Whitbread.
This intimate space is located within the Brewery’s old offices, now Grade I listed. Named after one of the brewery’s founders, is similar to the Melville space, with its high ceiling and proximity to the Chiswell Street Dining Room, but seats an intimate 23.
Named after Whitbread’s wife, the Cornwallis room seats a staggering 80 and is incredibly high ceilinged. The room is spacious and perfect for large conferences and parties and was once the breweries barrel storage room.
